Hiro Mashima and Kamome Shirahama are making guest appearances at NYCC!
Kodansha is making their way to another of the largest pop culture festivals in the country, New York Comic Con, with two amazing creator visits, panels, and more! Taking place on October 17-20, 2024 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, Kodansha invites you to to meet two leading creators of fantasy manga, Hiro Mashima (FAIRY TAIL, FAIRY TAIL: 100 Years Quest) and Kamome Shirahama (Witch Hat Atelier, Witch Hat Atelier: Kitchen)!
As a guest of honor of NYCC, fans can catch Mashima-sensei at a Crunchyroll presented panel and signing only at NYCC. While Shirahama-sensei can be seen at a Kodanansha manga focused panel during NYCC and also at an intimate Kodansha House speaking engagement.

Join Crunchyroll and Kodansha USA for a rare, in-person, conversation with the renowned manga creator Hiro Mashima—the mind behind FAIRY TAIL and EDENS ZERO and author of FAIRY TAIL: 100 Years Quest. With the EDENS ZERO manga having just come to a close and the FAIRY TAIL: 100 Years Quest anime currently on air, this conversation with Mashima-sensei will cover over two decades of his career as a best-selling manga creator.

Kodansha proudly presents a manga-focused conversation with special guest Kamome Shirahama—the award winning creator behind the all-ages fantasy series (and soon-to-be anime), Witch Hat Atelier. Join us for what will surely be an enchanting experience where fans will learn about Shirahama-sensei’s creative process, thoughts on the upcoming anime, memories of an incredible manga serialization, and much more!
