Quality Assurance in Another World

Nikola is just a village girl working at the inn...until the day dragons invade, and she meets Haga, a scholar of everything around him. He’s a part of an elite society called "Seeker," created to address a series of maladies plaguing their usually peaceful world. But both Nikola and Haga have secrets they hide...ones that will change each other’s very existence...

Amano joins Haga and Nikola’s party to journey across this incomplete, buggy world so they can bring down the evil debugger boss. In order to steal his debugger stone, the three of them infiltrate the boss’s castle. But unfortunately for them, they run into bug after bug as they progress through the dungeons. What awaits their party of three and what new truths will they find along the way?

After the assassination of the boss of Asobing Inc., his former employees have taken over Bayle Castle, with Haga and crew in their crosshairs. Meanwhile, the mysterious, black-armored knight who infiltrated the castle has their eye on Haga for their own purposes. Uncertain of what “death” really means for the debuggers, the King’s Seekers are now forced to choose how they’re going to live in this unfinished, bugged world.

The once powerless NPC, Gaydle, was modified by Yamanaka, another King’s Seeker and debugger like Haga. In return, Gaydle received an incredibly powerful body. Alas, the warriors of the mountains have had it with his barbarous ways and want him gone. It doesn’t take long for Haga and his party to be dragged into their deadly battle...one of many remnants of debuggers gone amok in this imperfect world.

Surprise! Tesla has a little brother—Alba—another Meta-AI who is responsible for the Principality of Sai. Unfortunately, when Haga’s party opposes Alba’s rule, Alba teleports Haga and Amano to the thousandth floor of the underground ruins nicknamed “The Diamond.” What awaits them is a series of terrifying trials and a chance meeting with a new debugger!

Haga’s workaholic tendencies are about to become his greatest strength. As the fearsome raid boss, Silence, enters its second form, the once hapless Haga finally awakens to his true strength. Meanwhile, Nikola is ousted from the Principality of Sai and left to fend for herself. Sai, however, is having its own problems…

After a whole year of the bug-filled, dungeon-crawling life, Haga and his team have finally climbed to the surface, where the members of Entermation Inc. have spent the last year undergoing drastic change. Meanwhile, Nikola and Tesla break off and pursue their own path.

A year after separating from Haga and the rest of the party, Nikola has reemerged as an Assassin! Now, she recounts her harrowing tale to the group: her grueling trials at the “House of Stolen Hearts” Assassin training facility, a fateful decision, and its shocking outcome…

After reuniting with Nikola and retrieving his debugger stone, Haga is once again swept into major trouble when a god-versus-god main quest activates! The final battle against the Entermation Inc. AI employees is about to begin!

After Entermation Inc. turns Akira into an NPC, Haga and his party renew their determination to complete their job as debuggers, and take to the sea for their next destination: the capital of Riono! But more challenges stand in their way…

Having finally escaped the tutorial stage, Haga and his party find themselves in the Wilsword Empire. While they continue to encounter bug after bug, things get even further out of hand when Catfish gets Princess-napped! As the group pursues the captors, they run into their biggest obstacle yet…!

While chasing after the bugged Catfish, Haga and his party run into Jin, Haga’s previous debugging team leader. But to Haga’s utter shock, Jin turns on Catfish and kills him right before Haga’s very eyes. After witnessing the atrocities Jin has committed, Haga has to make a decision to stand against the man he once revered as a mentor and friend…

Haga and his party are off to the Kingdom of Liono with a new goal of fully completing the game, King’s Seeker Online! But first, they’re going to need money. They take on a subquest from the Adventurers’ Guild and bring in two new members, a priest and a priestess. But when these two “NPCs” disappear into the night along with all of the team’s gear…Haga and his party are faced with a new challenge. They eventually save up enough money to continue on with the main quest! But of course, new hurdles block their path. A major bug and dark, ominous shadows await Haga and his team…

Yamato, of Project Lens, is in need of Haga’s help to save his little brother, Takashi. He reveals the truth behind Jin’s horrifying treatment of his team and the fallout that followed. As Haga and his party move on to progress through the main quests, a shocking encounter brings Haga face-to-face with a familiar debugger he hasn’t seen for many years.

Haga and Amano separated from Nikola and the rest of the team, bringing the dissociated-state Sumida with them. On their quest for the rare ore, Orichalcum, they find themselves trapped in quicksand and dropped into an underground dungeon. There, they meet a woman in the tamer class and a handful of last dungeon monsters! Now Haga and Amano will have to face off with some of the strongest monsters in the game…

As the team works towards the final quest, Haga’s group finally finds the rare orichalcum ore. Meanwhile, Nikola and her team have to overcome a trial to “face their darkness” in order to obtain the other key item, The Hero’s Bell.

After overcoming the trials, our team finally gets their hands on both the Orichalcum and the Hero’s Bell. Now it’s time to finally challenge the last dungeon, The Abyss. However, after facing the violent and horrifying Nikola doppelganger, Mayu almost hurts Nikola out of fear. Unable to trust herself, Mayu makes the painful decision to leave the party… Yamato also leaves in order to focus on saving his little brother. Now the party is back to the original three members, Haga, Nikola, and Amano, as they face their final challenge.
