Nanao bumps into Saionji Shinobu, Yako’s former fiancée. Apparently, Yako has drunk Shinobu’s blood in the past. Nanao is shaken by this revelation, but she believes in Yako. Unfortunately, Shinobu is relentless in trying to become Yako’s bride, even manipulating the Capital’s news. Furthermore, kidnappings have increased in the Capital, preventing Yako from returning home.
