Haruka Sakura wants nothing to do with weaklings—he’s only interested in the strongest of the strong. Sakura gradually accepts the comradery of his fellow delinquents of Bofurin. A routine street patrolling leads to a confrontation with rival gang Shishitoren who operate on brute strength. It’s a decisive win for Bofurin with Sakura catching everyone’s attention. However, Shishitoren won’t back down, and they challenge Bofurin to one-on-one fights between their team members. In a showdown where fists do the talking, Sakura’s voice will surely be heard!

In the battle between Bofurin and Shishitoren, bodies get knocked out and dragged off the stage one by one. Sakura is still the new kid in town, but he’s fired up to fight Shishitoren’s second-in-command Togame. Meanwhile, tensions rise between the gangs, with each matchup between opponents who have personal scores to settle. Sakura knows he’ll need more than physical strength to win. After defeating Shishitoren, the students at Furin High get a breather and bask in normal school life. After meeting some powerful classmates and astounding upperclassmen, Sakura gets elected class captain, blossoming some changes in himself. Meanwhile, a dark shadow looms over one of Sakura’s classmates. To save his friends from the infamous team, KEEL, Sakura and his class jump into action!

When Gravel, a gang from a neighboring district, threaten to wreak havoc on Roppo Ichiza’s turf if they don’t hand over Shizuka, Sakura and his friends offer their support in the form of their fists. During the gang’s Thanksgiving feast, Sako admits to his own mistakes and comes clean about his long-held feelings for Hiragi. As Sakura and the rest of his classmates settle on new resolutions for the future, Sugishita struggles to figure out where Sakura fits in his life.

Summer break is here! With new meetings come chaos and ruin?! Time continues to flow after Bofurin’s war against the former Furin students. While the students face off against their own troubles, Enomoto, Kusumi, and even Hiragi are paying Kaji a visit. Meanwhile, Sakura and his friends are hanging out when they bump into Kiryu’s older sister. As they watch this new side of Kiryu, a single greeting from his sister leads to a surprising visit to Kiryu’s family home!

The rocky road to the top, the words of reliable friends who push you forward... After Sakura found out that a group of men had their eyes set on Kiryu’s older sister, he races after Kiryu who went to storm the men’s base all on his own. Faced with a group of older, strong men, the two will have to work together and fight side by side! While Sakura’s friendship deepens with his classmates, he also realizes how far the road to the top of Furin really is after witnessing Umemiya’s battle against Takiishi. With the difficulty of a wall so high, he doubts his abilities to climb it, Togame from Shishitoren invites him and his friends to a summer festival. Not knowing who to turn to, Sakura tries opening up to Togame, and his words give Sakura a whole new perspective…

A new semester comes with new opportunities to deepen their bonds as friends! Sakura visits Umemiya’s orphanage and meets a young girl suffering from loneliness. With a past shrouded in pain, the girl’s deep-rooted anger boils to the surface… Next comes the new semester. While meeting the other classes and grade captains, the school’s supposedly number one fighter, Momijikawa, makes an appearance. For some reason, Momijikawa seems to despise outsiders, and that includes Sakura. The winds blow in a new wave of dissonence in Furin… How is Sakura going to handle this new encounter?!

With the new semester came new encounters. To strengthen their bonds, Sakura went to a party with the other captains and vice captains. There, he met a new face, Momijikawa. Momijikawa despises anyone from outside the town, but Sakura felt drawn to know more about this lone wolf. It was none-other than Sugishita who revealed Momijikawa’s tragic past. After learning the truth, Sakura and the others decided to protect Momijikawa…but a terrifying group appeared, and they’re out for blood…specifically, Momijikawa’s blood.

Sakura finally reveals his shrouded past while a storm is brewing over Furin. After Sakura and his friends rescue Momijikawa, he’s touched by Sakura’s kindness. Driven by curiosity, Momijikawa decides to ask Sakura why he came to Furin and learns of Sakura’s dark past. As the two grow to understand each other, they resort to their fists for a conversation that runs deeper than words. Time continues to pass, but not long after, another shadow descends on Furin. Suo suddenly disappears without a trace, but as the boys track down their friend…a terrifying truth awaits.
