Ya Boy Kongming!

General of the Three Kingdoms, Kongming had struggled his whole life, facing countless battles that made him into the accomplished strategist he was. The famous general, Zhuge Kongming, reborns into present-day Shibuya after his death. He takes up the role as the singer, Eiko Tsukimi’s tactician, to bring peace across the world by using club music! After Eiko’s concert ends in a grand success, the team is ready to prepare for their next battle, an outdoor festival. What kind of scheme does Kongming have to help Eiko, who’s stuck with a booth that’s located in the most remote place of the festival?!

Zhuge Kongming has been reborn in Shibuya! He’s now working as Eiko Tsukimi’s tactician to break out in the club scene! Their next challenge is to get 100,000 likes in order to perform at the major outdoor concert festival, Summer Sonia. The key to their victory is the talented rapper, KABEtaijin. But to get him out of his slump, Kongming is going to have to face him in a rap battle!

Zhuge Kongming reincarnates into present-day Shibuya and is working with the up-and-coming singer, Eiko Tsukimi, as her tactician! While Eiko has to record her all-new, original song, she finds herself trapped in a terrible slump! To help her get her creative juices running, Eiko goes busking on the streets and that’s when she meets Nanami, a girl after her own heart. After her experiences, Eiko finally finds the true reason for her singing. But to her dismay, Nanami is actually from the rival band who are aiming to win the “100,000 likes challenge,” just like her!

Traveling through time and space, Zhuge Kongming wakes up in the streets of Shibuya. Working together with the up-and-coming artist, Eiko Tsukimi, the team sets off to take the world by storm through their music. Although they successfully won their place to perform at Summer Sonia, EIKO still only has one original song! Their next task is to write several new songs after “DREAMER“! Kongming seeks out the young talent of the jazz world, the Wakatsuki siblings to help them create the new music EIKO is going to need. However, the siblings have problems of their own! Their relationship is quickly crumbling and in order to get their help, Kongming is going to have to mend their relationship through…DJing?!

Zhuge Kongming is aiming to unite the world with the aspiring sing, Eiko Tsukimi’s music! They have challenged Eiko’s mother, Shoko, who has a firm stance against Eiko pursuing music! If Eiko’s new song, “Flower Crown,” can move the people’s hearts, then Shoko will let Eiko continue on her dream to become a singer! To complete this song about “sibling love,” Eiko must look to her past. She decides to go back to her family town in Kyoto with Kongming! But having reached the town heavy with history between Eiko and her mother, Eiko struggles to find that “something missing” to complete her song. Thus starts the Kyoto Festival Arc!

Eiko and Kongming joins the Kyoto Five-District Festival! They ride into battle with their floats, traveling across the city. It’s a simple competition, where the team that can gather the most guests win! However, Eiko’s team, the Kiyamachi Shopping District, is an underdog in the competition with a small budget and no connections. But the curtains rise on a total war between Kiyamachi, backed with Kongming’s tactics, and the consecutive winners, Komagawa! Eiko takes the stage in order to win this competition for their district, and in order to deliver her new song, Flower Crown, to her mother!!

“We can prepare everything you’ll need.” A major label sends a passionate invite to Eiko. “You need to cut Kongming out of your life and sign a contract with a major label.” Eiko’s rival, MIA, gives her a dire warning. Eiko struggles to choose between her trust for Kongming and the opportunities at a major label. But while Eiko is split between her choices, Kongming suddenly reveals his plan to start a music company that will fix certain problems that plague the industry! It’s time! Kongming, to charge his army straight into the music world!!

Kongming has created a new label, “Fourth Kingdom.” Their first job is to have an artist collaboration mixed concert with the major artists of the three biggest labels in Japan! In order to make this collaboration a success, Kongming will have to put to work some of his usual tricks…will he be able to accomplish such an unbelievable feat?

The one-night battle of Kabuki’s newbie trial host, Kongming, finally reaches its climax! And Kongming’s company is in the up-and-up, producing Eiko’s very first album. Eiko, had once almost given up on being a singer, but she held her hopes close as she continued to fight her way up…finally, it’s time for her to step forth onto the stage of her dreams, Summer Sonia!!

Eiko has taken up the challenge to gather more guests to her stage than her rivals at the major music festival, Summer Sonia! Keiji Maeono stands in her way, using his money and influence to manipulate the festival and buy his way to the top. To thwart Eiko, Keiji has devised a plan to scout Kabetaijin to his side. However, Kongming has a plan up his sleeve…to use the Fire Attack Strategy to burn Keiji to the ground! Will the hopeful southeast wind blow into the war-torn Summer Sonia grounds?!

The curtains finally rise on Eiko’s stage at the outdoor music festival, Summer Sonia! But there are only a mere 300 or so people at Eiko’s stage, while Keiji Maezono has gathered over 10,000 people! All because Keiji swiped Kabetaijin from Eiko’s team, and Keiji’s men are blocking the bridge to Eiko’s stage. Under these overwhelmingly terrible circumstances, Kongming reveals a crafty grin. His new strategy is going to bring everything together and end Keiji’s evil meddling!!

The voltage is spiking up at the grand outdoor music festival, Summer Sonia! Kongming and Eiko are betting Keiji Maezono to see who can bring in the most guests at their stage. But it’s a rocky start for our music talent with only 300 people at Eiko’s stage…! Meanwhile, Kongming’s strategy is finally coming together when they pull EastSouth over from Keiji’s grasp, and the once-missing duo’s impressive music has people flooding to Eiko’s stage! Although Keiji had them under his thumb for so long, Keiji is finally being driven to the edge of this music war! Just one more push and Eiko will finally win!

Eiko’s Summer Sonia concert was a massive success! Seeing her bloom, Maria invites Eiko to America with her, where she can train and come even closer to her dream of singing at VOICELL LAND. What will Eiko choose?! Meanwhile, Kongming already has plans for their next step! He’s going to spend every last penny of their military funds on this risky bet!! The fate of our heroes are on the line as they step forth onto a whole new stage!

Eiko’s aiming to perform at the world’s biggest music festival, VOICELL LAND! But to make her way there, she’ll have to put on her first-ever solo concert. To her surprise, Kongming seeks out the help of Karasawa to help produce the event! But Karasawa’s a lot stricter than anyone would’ve imagined and told Eiko to redo her plans, throwing her back to square one. Meanwhile, Kongming is trying to cozy up with the owner of the venue by promising to help him win a horse race. But things go south when a rival horse comes into the picture!

Eiko and her friends are busy, busy, busy planning the one-man concert! Who knew that getting the venue for her concert would include an exhilarating horse race?! Their fate now lies with a horse that has never won even once in his life! What’s more, they’re against a rising star in the horse-racing world! Will Kongming manage to dig them out of this unfavorable rut and help Eiko take another step closer to her solo concert?!

The curtains rise on Eiko’s solo concert! Ai, caught between her sparkling dreams and the cold harshness of reality, has come to watch Eiko sing. Seeing her old self in Ai, Eiko decides to give Ai that little push she needs to take a leap of faith by singing her heart out in hopes of her voice reaching Ai’s heart. But seeing the dazzling Eiko on stage, Ai feels overwhelmed as she retreats further away into the shadows. Despite this, Eiko still continues to sing, her voice louder than ever, to bring Ai out of the darkness and forward into a bright future. Will Eiko’s thoughts finally reach Ai?

Eiko takes another step up the stairway to stardom! Her next mission? To land the theme song to famous director, Minoru Asagumo’s newest film, The Voice of Spring! While Eiko is giving 150% at the auditions, Kongming has started to make his move in the shadows… to become a teacher at a daycare?! Kongming’s new plan is to get close to the music manager, Aoriku, but who would’ve known the trouble he’d find himself in…!

The violent landsharks are finally showing their true colors and picking up weapons to attack the kindergarten! While everyone panics, Kongming stands his ground firmly, ready to receive the landsharks. The kindergarten battle reaches its exciting climax! Meanwhile, it’s Eiko’s turn to shine as she performs her rendition of a song at the Voice of Spring auditions. But the major changes she made to the song might not sit well with the original composer! What’s her trick this time? Can she capture the hearts of all those in the audition room?

Eiko has been entrusted to creating the perfect theme song to lead the movie to its happy ending! But Eiko is at a loss. She can’t seem to grasp the song she wants to make. To learn more about the director’s feelings and emotions for the movie, Eiko has resorted to stalking the poor director! But instead of revealing more about the movie, Eiko finds out about the rocky relationship between the director and his father. With a hefty truth revealed, what next steps will Eiko and Kongming take?

Just right before The Voice of Spring was fully completed, director Asagumo decides to put a pause in production. It’s not right! The music, sound, and animation aren’t blending together the way he wanted! Everything needs to be edited!! However, if they do go back and revisit the whole process, the movie will have to be delayed and Orion Film will risk bankruptcy! But Eiko’s got a plan… She rises to the challenge to save both the company and the film!

Nanami is at a loss. After losing the Rock Battle Japan, it’s become clear that Azalea is missing something that they need to succeed. But just as she’s trying to find her way, Azalea’s tactician and producer, Karasawa, suddenly collapses. But to everyone’s surprise, the man who comes to their rescue is Eiko’s own tactician, Kongming! For some unknown reason, Kongming brings the Azalea girls to Kyoto to do some much-needed Zen meditation. What could Kongming be after to help Nanami when she’s already feeling like she’s being left in the dust while Eiko keeps dashing forward? Little do the girls know, something even crazier is awaiting them after the training ends…

Hebizawa has asked an ally who works in the underground business to capture and hide Nanami. In order to save the captive songstress, the battle professional, Kongming, is on the job. And his plan? To shoot a music PV at the criminal’s headquarters! Is he really there to save Nanami?! Meanwhile, Nanami is instructed to sit quietly and wait for rescue. When she’s finally freed, her clear singing voice resonates throughout the battlefield.

The RBJ Finals are finally upon us! Who will come out on top?! While Nanami reveals the powerful results of her training, Eiko has returned to Shibuya. Ever since she sang the theme song for the popular movie, The Voice of Spring, the world now knows her as “the anime song singer.” In order to strip herself of that label, Kongming brings her to…a TV station?!

Eiko takes home the win at the karaoke battle and without any dirty tricks, either! But when the head of Daito TV, Kakuta, falls for Kongming’s taunts, they get locked in a match for viewership. Kakuta is no stranger to underhanded tricks, and he’s not afraid to use them! Meanwhile, Kongming takes Eiko out of Japan, all the way to Malaysia to film! Her task? To bring a near-bankrupt tour company back to its feet! And what better way than to act as the tour’s very own bus guide! How is she going to rake in the views? And what plan does the newbie TV program producer Kongming have up his sleeves this time?
